ROYAL HANDLING

ABOUT ME
Professional All-Breed Handler
I’ve been around dog shows for as long as I can remember. I stepped into the ring at 10, but everything really started when I began campaigning my first show dog, Royal, a Cane Corso we bred in our own program. That’s where I learned what this actually takes, not just showing a dog, but developing one.
Royal and I learned everything together. Along the way, we were lucky to accomplish things I never expected, earning Select Dog at Westminster twice and ranking #5 nationally in the all-breed standings in both 2021 and 2022. Those wins meant a lot, but more than anything, they taught me how much preparation, consistency, and connection matter.
At the end of the day, I care about the dogs first. I’m not just taking a dog in the ring and hoping it works. I spend time with them, figure them out, and build them up so when they walk in the ring, they’re confident and understand their job.
The Working Group is a big passion. I’ve always been drawn to the big dogs and the personalities that come with them. They’re not all the same, and you can’t treat them like they are.
My goal is simple, bring the enjoyment back into the ring. This sport can be intimidating and not always the most welcoming. I want people to feel like they have support, a clear path, and someone in their corner.

RING-SIDE HANDLING
An exclusive experience for your dog and for you.
Ring-side handling with me is more than just a quick pickup at the gate. It’s a personalized, relationship-driven experience designed to help your dog feel confident and perform at their best. I take the time to get to know each dog I show so that when it’s their time in the ring, they’re comfortable, focused, and ready to shine.
For dogs entering the ring with me for the first time, whether they’re puppies or adults, I make it a priority to give them extra time and attention before they show. I spend time connecting with them, practicing what works, adjusting what doesn’t, and helping them feel as comfortable with me as possible. That extra preparation makes a meaningful difference in how the dog feels, building confidence that shines through in the performance.
SHOW TRAINING
Get your dog ready to shine!
Show training is about more than just preparation. It’s about building a positive working relationship between you and your dog. This bond boosts confidence and helps your dog perform with clarity and purpose in the ring. I focus on developing your dog’s understanding of what’s expected while making the process rewarding and team-oriented. Whether you’re just getting started or looking to refine existing skills, this training is designed to take your dog from good to great.
I started as an owner-handler and understand the journey firsthand. I successfully campaigned my personal Cane Corso to Lifetime #1 Owner-Handled in the breed and earned an Owner-Handler Group 1 at a major show in Orlando, Florida. Because of that experience, I also offer private classes for owner-handlers who want to develop their training skills and improve ring presentation with guidance tailored to their goals.
I'm based in Central Michigan and frequently available in Southeastern Ohio. Let’s work together to bring out the best in your dog and you.
